Overview The dump truck backed in order to carry the mining surplus soil while the heavy equipment and the worker did the bedded work in order to install the drainpipe, and the mining surplus soil was loaded to the dump truck. When the operator turned the backhoe at the bedding place in order to start the mining and bedding work then, the assistant woker was almost hit the bucket of the backhoe.It was the Near Miss case.
Incident The bucket of turning backhoe was almost hit the assistant worker.
Sequence The dump truck backed in order to carry the mining surplus soil while the heavy equipment and the worker did the bedded work in order to install the drainpipe, and the mining surplus soil was loaded to the dump truck.
When the operator turned the backhoe at the bedding place in order to start the mining and bedding work then, the assistant worker was about to be hit by the bucket of the backhoe, and the operator immediately stopped turning and avoided the hit.
